Sucden is a truly global soft commodities trading group with activities extending along the value chain from production and processing to trading and logistics.

We employ 5,400 people worldwide, have offices and representation in 25 countries, and serve clients in over 100 different destinations across Europe, Russia, Africa, the Middle East, the Americas, Asia Pacific and Japan.

Central to the effectiveness of our trading is that we have strong commercial relationships and offices in the key origination areas of Brazil and Asia for our sugar business, Latin America for ethanol, Ivory Coast in Africa for cocoa, and Latin America and Asia for coffee. In Russia, where Sucden is one of the country’s top four sugar producers, our interests include agriculture, processing and distribution.

To enhance our logistical efficiency, Sucden has a well-established network of distribution offices, hubs and terminals in the main consumption areas.

Each element of what we do interacts seamlessly to connect supply and demand in the right place, at the right time and with the right products.
